International Dance Day is a global celebration of dance, created in 1982 by the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute (ITI), of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).The event takes place every year on 29th April. In Hong Kong, in view of the drop of western dance fans in recent years and in order to promote western dance, the organizer Hong Kong Dance Federation has targeted ??Hundred People Dance?? as one of the main programmes. |
